Terms of Use

EVMath is free to use. By using the site you agree to these plain terms — the most important being that everything here is an informational estimate, not professional advice.

Last updated May 2026.

Informational content only

EVMath's calculators, guides, and model pages are provided for general educational purposes. They are not financial, tax, legal, or professional purchasing advice, and using them does not create any advisory relationship. Before making a purchase, financing, or tax decision, confirm the specifics with a qualified professional and the primary source — the IRS or a tax advisor for credit eligibility, the manufacturer or dealer for pricing and specs, and your utility for electricity rates.

Estimates and accuracy

Every result on EVMath is an estimate built from your inputs and from public data such as EPA range figures, manufacturer specs, IRS tax-credit rules, and average electricity and gas prices. Real-world outcomes vary: range depends on weather, speed, and driving style; charging cost depends on your actual rate and charger; tax-credit eligibility depends on your income, the vehicle, and rules that change from year to year. We work to keep the underlying data current and cite our sources, but we can't guarantee that every figure is accurate, complete, or up to date at the moment you read it. Treat the numbers as a starting point, not a quote.

No warranty and limitation of liability

EVMath is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pond Software is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its calculations. You are responsible for the decisions you make.

Third-party links, ads, and affiliates

The site links to external resources, shows third-party advertising, and includes affiliate links (primarily to Amazon). We don't control third-party sites or ads and aren't responsible for their content or practices. See the affiliate disclosure and privacy policy for how those work.

Acceptable use and content

You may use EVMath for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't scrape, republish, or resell the site's content or data wholesale without permission. The EVMath name, design, and original content are the property of Pond Software.
